Beautiful park with a great little shooting area up top.
Campground and park are maintained very well. Campground is closed October 16, 2017 until Winter season is over. Dates to follow, please be sure to call before coming to camp as it may not be open. Restrooms are closed except a vault or pit toilet at far side of day use area. Also, dogs are welcome and required to be picked up after and on a leash or the Park Ranger will tell you about it. If you do have a dog, please come to the park host spot (if we are there) and let me pet your dog and give him or her a treat. Thanks!
Nice park, but kind of run down. Not being maintained very well.
Good fishing off the dock and around. Don't trust the camp just by leaving your stuff out. Accidentally left my baitcaster on the dock next day went to ask the camp host if he say it and it was in the back of his trunk. I thought that it was in a lost in found so I knocked to tell him it was mine. He claimed it was his. I knew it was mine and told him that. So after about 7 minutes he finally gave it to me.
