1. Extremely unprofessional owner. We booked two rooms with king bed directly talking to the owner over phone. He sold those rooms to someone else and gave us rooms with double twin bed, and lied about them being queen bed.
Reserved a room on line.Requested a king size bed, no smoking. Gave us key to a room with someone in it! We and the other guest were very surprised. Gave us another room. Very dirty, stunk like smoke, old worn out bedspread, saggy queen size bed. So filthy it made my skin crawl. Don't go there. Would rather sleep in the car. We asked for a refund but were charged twice!
The host Jay is very cool he's down to earth. He lets you do your own thing. He also thinks of you ahead of time and tells you about things that you think that he thinks that you might need or want like the restaurant closing at a certain time what I'm getting at is he's thinking of the customer instead of himself. He's very courteous and respectful of your wishes and I recommend this place very highly to anybody that wants to come to a place that is comfortable easy staying and a awesome host.
3. There is so much dust in the area, that it was a health hazard. Renovation was going on the room next door.
The owner is working on updating this hotel and has done a great job. New TVs, cold a/c, mini fridge and microwave were all working. The beds are comfy enough and I got a good night's sleep. The area is quiet and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. I wish my room had an ironing board, but it otherwise did what I needed; provide a good night's sleep.
Stay away if you can, for the following reasons.
Its definitely a 2star standard hotel, but I'll give it 4 for the friendly check in when i pulled in late and the warm, clean room and large bathroom. Looks like they're doing renovations. Hopefully they'll get new beds (mattress slumped from overuse), warmer blankets, and renovated showers. Not very scenic, but if you're in nees for an affordable place to spend the night, it'll do.
2. When we were checking out, the lady at the front desk was rude and angry for no apparent reason.
